Traveling thru and decided to stop in.   I'm glad I did,  atmosphere is nice, everyone working are friendly.   And the best part they have a good assortment of food to chose from is the buffet.

The main draw here is the country buffet and while I'm not usually a buffet fan, the woman at the front desk of the Quality Inn recommended it. It has a really cute quaint atmosphere. There wasn't a wait on a Friday night but the restaurant was mostly full.

It's a pretty standard salad bar, main entree, sides, and dessert buffet. The lettuce was pretty fresh on the salad bar, whereas the eggs were rubbery. It had a good selection of toppings and dressings.

I got a steak and a baked potato. The sirloin steak was decent, better than what I'd expect. The baked potato was good, classic butter, sour cream, cheese, bacon and chive toppings. They have a designated person walking around to serve rolls and butter, you can choose regular butter and strawberry. I went with strawberry, it was definitely the right choice.

There was a wide variety of dessert options from fruit to ice cream. I got a bit of a chocolate cream pie, pineapple cake, strawberries, and ice cream with hot fudge, it was hard to choose!

Overall it was a good experience, our server was friendly and checked back often. It was a good value, after we finished eating we paid at the front, and left with full bellies.

Food was ok, definitely lacking in comparison to the Dyersburg restraint. they don't seem to have the same quality, so it was quite a different experience for my wife and I. Not that I hated the food, but they just didn't maintain the food as well, the fried shrimp was empty and took for ever to get more out, they don't have steak unless you pick from a menu rather than their buffet, their salad assortment was lacking, and where Dyersburg seems to always have more unique dishes, not necessarily always the same, here it was not as good. The wait staff was real good to us and the food was good all the same, but I would definitely prefer to take the drive to the Dyersburg location as they are both about the same distance from me, we had just wanted to try this location as we wanted to go to see the Christmas lights at Discovery Park of America that evening as well.

Stopped by on our way through and was very happy with with our dinner. We had the buffet which had many choices of meats like grilled chicken, very good fried chicken, fish, meatballs and sausage plus more. Salad bar had a lot choices and fresh. Other sides were green beans, corn on cob, corn fritters, hush puppies, mash potatoes and gravy and more. To finish the meal off was the dessert bar which had ice cream, brownies, pies and peach cobbler that was delicious!! Try it you'll like it  the service was friendly and prompt.

Horrible, the steaks taste like the old nasty staeaks from Ponderosa Steakhouse. I've tried it twice
